Cara Craft Supplies Monthly
Projects!!

March 2006 - Carrie's Projects!

I have been a keen crafter for as long as I remember including dressmaking,
embroidery, painting and more recently, jewellery making.
I
started making Christmas cards for family and friends over five years ago and I
now have a good customer base who regularly purchase made to order cards and
wedding invitations.    I also supply cards to local gift shops and
florists.  I hope you enjoy my projects!

Instructions
- Using the back of the gingerbread stripes paper,
measure and cut a square 14 x 14cm.
- With the Making Memories Love Dot paper measure
and cut a rectangle 12.5 x 5.5 cm.  Using double sided tape layer this onto
the gingerbread stripes paper and stick both to the card.
- Cut a circle (I used a mug for my template) from
the Making Memories Love Paisley paper.  Stick this onto a Heidi Swapp
blossom.
- Cut the centre of a Heidi Swapp Floral Blossom and
6 petals.  Stick several of the Making Memories brads through the centre
circle and layer this to the Making Memories Paisley paper and then onto the
card.
- Paint or stamp the Heidi Swapp chipboard pieces
(spelling MUM).  I used old emulsion paint and then dabbed the letters with
red ink on a sponge.  Embellish with gems or ribbon scraps and stick to
card.
