August 2007 - Jacqui B's
Projects!

Hi I'm Jacqui. I started out my craft life doing
interior design, and still love to keep up to date with home
projects. I always seem to have one room on the go
being " revamped" :)  I did an art course while on temporary sick leave for
a back problem, and from there discovered card making!  At the beginning I
found it extremely hard source nice products for my hobby, but I soon discovered
the internet and sites like www.craftsupplies.ie and there's been no
stopping me since!  I'm thrilled and honoured to be part of this team and
hope you enjoy my projects!

Instructions 1.
Cut the Bazzill card  to A5 (14.8 x 21cm) size and then using a spool of thread as
a template make a scalloped edge around all sides and cut out as per
picture. 2. Use the Crop a Dile or circle punch to make the smaller size hole in each
scallop. 3. Fold card in half to form card
base. 4. Cut a piece of the Haute Spots
paper to approx 12cm wide and 9cm long and stick to the front of the card as shown. 5. Use
the Sakura pen to draw imitation stitches around 3
edges as shown. 6. To make the paper ribbon cut 2 pieces of
C’est Magnifique
paper.  Ink all the edges using the black inkpad. Glue the 1st
piece down approx 1/3 of the way down on the card.
Take the 2nd piece, fold in half to mark the central point, then open
up and fold each edge of the paper back to the centre point, securing with glue.
Take a small offcut of the Haute Spots paper and wrap
around the middle to form the centre. Glue the centre of this paper ribbon to
the card - this allows the paper ribbon bow to stand proud of the card and gives
a lovely 3D look to it. 7. Finally attach the Happy Birthday peel off to the
bottom right.
