hi girls I need your advise please.
Some of you may remember back in September when rusty pickle were launching there blog they had a giveaway every day for a week. Well lucky old me won an acrylic ablum and a set of papers however they never turned up Crying or Very sad

. I remember seen several posts here were people won prized in magazined and never got them so
DO I send an email asking what the story is
Or
Do I just for get about it?

all help appreciated

I say email them as they could have sent the prize out and had your addy wrong and it went to someone else....or got lost in the post or whatever...can't hurt checking in and at least finding out for your own piece of mind.

I think you send an email. It's not quite the same as not getting something you paid for, but still - they ran the competition and you entered and you won.
A few years back I won some software for DH, which he would really have liked. It never turned up, so after a couple of months I contacted them, and although they weren't able to explain why I hadn't got it (fault of the sponsor, not their fault Rolling Eyes

), they gave me a year's sub to the DVD version of the magazine. So I do, from my own experience, think you should contact them. Send them a copy of the email you got saying you'd won, and say that even surface post from the States should have well arrived by now, so you are just wondering what the story is Smile

I'd say e-mail them too. I won a small prize with a magazine at the beginning of the year and it didn't turn up till April.May I had actually thought it was never gonna turn up at that stage and I wasn't gonna boter e-mailing coz it was only a paper pack and I said it was on'y something small. But I would definitly e-mail Rusty pickl.

a friendly email letting them know you didnt get it - ask if perhaps there had been a delay.... that cant hurt. and it may come up trumps one way or another

i arranged an xmas raffle for 3 years running (for animal rescue) - usually i had the prizes in my posession to mail or pass on to winners but last year 3 of the biggest prizes were vouchers and a years supply of pet food which the companies said they would post to the winners when i notify them with the info. none of the winners got their prizes (3 diff companies) so i didnt bother this year as i knew most of the prizes donated would be vouchers and i might run into that wall again. very disappointing for everyone involved.
but if the item was in their posession they may replace it - fingers crossed

Do e-mail them Karen. Do you think any of the Yanks would be sitting back debating what to do?!!! You won the prize and you are entitled to it. A polite e-mail inquiring as to if it has been shipped yet will not cause offence. Tell them how "excited" you are to see the goodies and that "ALL the ladies on the forum are waiting with bated breath to see what you get" Wink
