Projects - Jackie Mooney's Cards. 

On our Crafter's Forum, Jackie Mooney has the title
of our Stamping Queen!!  Jackie estimates that she owns over 2,000 stamps
and has been card making and crafting for nearly 10 years.  She inspires us
all with her constantly inventive and innovative use of stamps, papers and other
embellishments.  Give Jackie a stamp or any kind of other embellishment,
and in 5 minutes time she'll have a stunning and unique card put together,
scanned and posted up on the forum!!  We are thrilled to have her on board
and part of our team.  Her talent knows no ends and we hope you'll be as
inspired by her projects as we are.
Project 1 - Baby Pink Girl's Card
      Skill Level -
Middle
        Materials and Tools
used:
      Square white card Blank and Envelope
      Bazzill Card Stock (or
similar) Rosey ,Cameo, Lima
      Bean.
      Fabric flowers ( pink)
      Mixed pack ribbon ( pink)
      Small light pink bow
      Butterfly Sticker
      Provocraft Baby Stamps - Christening
Gown  and " For
      Baby" Stamp
      Versamark Clear Ink pad, or Encore Gold ink pad.
      Gold embossing powder, Heat embossing
gun.
           
 
Instructions:
1. Fold a square card blank
2. Cut two pieces of gingham pink ribbon and
stick to card with a glue roller .*
3. Glue two pink flowers and a butterfly on the overlapped
ribbon glue.
4. Stamp the dress and " for baby" images using the gold
or clear inks.
5. **Heat emboss the stamped images using gold embossing
powder (or clear embossing powder if you have stamped using a gold
ink).
6. Cut out the images around the outline of the dress and
a frame around the " for you" image.  You can do this using a sharp paper
scissors or
      paper knife and cutting mat. 
5. Layer the dress image onto a 2" x2" square of Bazzill
Card in Cameo and then onto a 3" x3" square of Bazzill in Rosey.
6. Layer the “ for baby “ image onto a slightly larger
Bazzill Cameo rectangle then a slightly larger Bazzill Lima bean
rectangle.

Project 2 - Baby Boy Blue Card

        Materials and Tools
used:
      Square white card Blank and Envelope
      Bazzill StarMist Blue
Cardstock
      Basic Grey Urban Lustra Paper
      White Tracing Paper
      Provocraft Baby Stamps - Christening
Gown  and " For
      Baby" Stamp
      Pastel Blue Brads
      White Organza Ribbon
      Sakura 3D Roller Pen (white)
      Self adhesive Blue Gems
      Black Stazon or Color Box Ink Pad or
 
 
Instructions for Blue boys card.
1. Fold a square white card .
2. Stamp a piece of 5" x5" StarMist Bazzill randomly with
“baby shoes “ and “ boy oh boy” images using black stazon ink .
3. Fix onto card with glue roller or double sided
adhesive
4. Highlight front of shoes with white gel roller
pen.
5. Cut a piece of white card 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ then a piece of
vellum slightly larger , fix together with four blue brads,.attach layers to
card
6. Stamp pram image with black stazon onto a square of 2x2
“ basic grey urb Lustre”
7. Layer onto a slightly larger square of misty blue
bazill then layer on top of vellum
8. Stick two self adhesive blue gems to wheel centres
9 Finish off by punching two holes to top and bottom of
card , thread white organza ribbon through holes and tie with a
bow.
Project 2 - Accordian
Card
    Skill Level: Middle -

Materials and Tools used:
      Square white card Blank and Envelope
     
Bazzill Card Stock (or similar) Rosey
,Cameo, Limeade,     
      Petunia, Hillary
      MAMBI Honeysuckle Paper
      Mixed pack ribbon ( pink)
      Provocraft Baby Stamps 
      Sakura 3D Roller Pen (white)
      Self adhesive Pink Gems
      Super 2" Round Punch, Regular 3/4" Round Punch
      Rectangle Envelope Punch, Regular Foot Punch
      Pink and Green Flower Garland
      Black Stazon or Color Box Ink Pad
      Double Sided Foam pads
      Glue Roller
      Heart Brad, Button
 
Instructions for accordian card…
 
1.    Fold a square card in half then fold the
front in half then the same with the back of the card to making an accordian
fold.
2.    Crease down the edges well to make a sharp
edge then open out flat.
3.    Cut four 4 ½ x 2 ¾ pieces of lime and pink
card from Bazzill or similar card stock.
4.    Punch a semi-circle on the top edges of
each piece, two with a the smallerl round punch and two with the 2 inch
punch.
5.    Attach each punched piece to each folded
card panel using an adhesive roller or thin strips of double sided tape , Making
sure you apply     
          the adhesive to the
three edges of the coloured panels leaving enough room for the tags.
6.    Cut four 4 ¼ x 2 ¼ pieces from coloured
Bazzill for the tags,
7.    Punch each top corner with the small round
punch to shape tags. Punch a small hole for ribbon in two of the
tags.
8.    Decorate the tags with stamped sentiments,
stamped images, gems, brads etc. Private messages can be added to the back of
tags.
9.    Add ribbons to tags through punched holes
or with staples.
10. Decorate coloured panels with stamped images, punched
flowers/circles,/feet, buttons gems etc.
11. Make a stitched design around circles with a white gel
roller pen …
12. Punch a vellum envelope and attached to a card panel
.
 
FRONT OF ACCORDIAN CARD
1. Cut a piece of 5 ½ x 2 ½ card from Lime Bazzill
2, Stamp “ Welcome little one“ with black ink. Ink attach
panel to card front.
3, Cut a 16 inch strip from a pink and green flower
garland .
4. Attach one of the flowers with a double sided foam
pad.
5. Tie the remaining strip around closed card.
